Network License Error – Network Server

If the message

“The installation of the client identity failed because a client identity using the same server is already installed”
appears, proceed as follows:

1. Open the Local License Service in the Web Browser

Open the following address:

http://localhost:1947

  1. Configuration
    → Menu item on the left side
  2. Click the [Access to Remote License Managers] tab
    → 3rd tab in the menu
  3. Check the value Remote License Search Parameters and reset it to default
    → Click [Set Defaults]
  4. Click [Submit]

2. Have the Identity Link Resent by the Administrator

The administrator must log in to the corresponding portal:

  1. Open:

https://cadian.prod.sentinelcloud.com/customer

Log in with the administrator’s email and password.

  1. Click the [Machine Accounts] menu
    → Menu on the right side
  2. Click the icon (3 vertical dots) in the Actions column
  3. Click Copy Identity Link
    • A message will appear in the top-right corner:
      “Successfully copied the identity link to the Clipboard.”
  4. The identity link is now stored in the clipboard and must be sent to the client user.

3. Steps for the Client User

  1. Open a web browser
  2. Paste the identity link into the address bar
  3. Press Enter until the [Install] button appears
  4. Click [Install] to allow the application to access the end user’s computer
  5. Try to start CADian
